Cold Turkey co-ed Softball tournament on the 14th of November in Manchester and Merrimack NH. Gameplay will follow My Social Sports Semi-Competitive rules and guidelines for play. Please join us for what will be a great day of softball.
This tournament will sell out before the deadline. It is recommended that captains pay the team fee to secure their teams spot. We have a hard cap of 20 teams for this tournament.
For this tournament, we have decided to have a little fun while helping out an awesome charity - New Horizons Food Pantry.
Donate 175 non-perishable food items and your team will get a package of tickets good for gimmicks.
|1 ticket good for a “Money Ball” which would double the number of runs scored on that particular play
|1 ticket good for making 1 player bat the opposite way - pretty straight forward.
|1 ticket good for making 1 player bat using a kids T Ball Bat - the batter must hold the bat with two hands.
|1 ticket good for putting a kickball into play. All batters will kick a kickball until the initial batter gets out or scores. Indian Rubber is in effect and the ball must go past at least the pitcher's mound when kicked, otherwise, it will be a foul
|1 ticket good for removing 1 player from the field with the exception of the pitcher or catcher for one play - fielders are not allowed to shift over to cover where the fielders were removed from.
|1 ticket to steal an out. Your team gets a 4th out and your opponent loses an out for that inning. Must be played at the top of the inning
These tickets are only good for one single at bat and can only be used during the round robin pool play.
PARTY, ROSTERS, PAYMENT, AND T-SHIRTS
There is no Party Shirts or Registration event for the tournament.
Teams are guaranteed 3 games, plus playoffs for those that make it.
Teams are required to have at least 4 of each gender and a total of at least 12 players on their roster.
Registration fee is $30.00 per player or $360.00 for the full team.
Captains that have less than twelve (12) players signed up for their team will be charged a fee equal to the team fee (minus any other fees paid by previously registered players) at the registration deadline and will have free agents assigned to their team to ensure a twelve (12) player roster.
There will absolutely NO SUBSTITUTIONS allowed during tournament play. If a team is found to be using a player from another team, the game will be considered a forfeit no matter the outcome and the opposing team will be declared as the winner. If both teams are found to be using substitute players, then both teams will be declared the loser and no points will be awarded to either team.
All registration fees must be paid in full by the registration date November 9th players can pay online or at the office.
Credits are not allowed for this event. There are no refunds for this tournament.
Teams will be placed into one of four pools and will play all of their pool play games at one field.
Teams are guaranteed 3 games, plus playoffs for those that qualify.
ASA Umps will be used for the tournament.
Pool play will begin at 8:00 AM.

My Social Sports will provide all softballs for the tournament and will utilize 12’ softballs.
Men must use an ASA/USA approved wood softball bat.
Women can use any bat that meets the following criteria.
Must be Steel or Aluminum
Must be an ASA Approved bat
